I was just wondering how do these differ from the standard and what might i notice in every day normal driving.

any advice on the best tyres and where to get them from?

thanks in advance

Kwik Fit are generally one of the more expensive outfits so I suggest you shop around.

I recently got Yokohama Parada Spec 2 for the rears and they are great. I paid £72 each (fitted and balanced) from Elite in Rainham, Essex.

I hear the Toyo Proxes T1-R(or S) are also meant to be good tyres for around £70.

Seriously, you wouldn't go mountain trekking in a pair of plimsoles would you???
Don't put cheap tyres on a little car with 150 BHP mate, you'll hit a tree or a kid.
Having worn tyres is a perfect oppourtunity to buy Goodyear Eagle F1s which are better than the standard Pirellis you've had since new and will make the car handle even better.
Cheap tyres will make it wheelspin and under/oversteer.
I know they're dear but they're worth it in the long run.
Michelins are good as well

Did fit toyo T1-S on my car when I bought my new alloys a while back and there have much more traction on the dry and on the wet! The only problem one of my tyre was badly made not fully round and therefore did have some vibration in my steering but manage to get over it by pulling at the back!

I just got new tires yesterday, I got toyo t1-r because the s is old tread patten. They look sexy but they do the job of keeping you on the road very well in wet and dry.
Cost me £170 all in which i know seems alot but cheap for round hear
