It makes me think the firm i bought the car off may have had the stipres put on privately, as i got from an online company. It does look better like that though so i'm not complaining!
True that it won't save Ford a lot of money, but as has been pointed out before, they will do all kinds of little things in order to save a few pence a car.
Like you say though, it doesn't particularly matter anyways here.
I got Ford original stripes but aftermarket & the set came complete with stripes for underneath the spoiler, these were a real arse to fit & in the end i threw them away.
Oh right very strange. Maybe they all come with them originally but they arent fitted for whatever reason. Personally, i think its a bit cheap that they are stickers in the first place, it should be painted on IMO.

yes u right but its more easy and cheaper to replace those stickers rather than paint it onto the car probably cost much more for ford and for u!

Well like Babyboom said, it will be partially down to cost since it would push the price up a lot more if they were factory painted. But I think the other thing is that it always gives the option of them being removed, obviously it could put some people off if they're a little unsure and don't have the option of changing their mind later. But also it gives the option to dealers later on if they maybe decide that they can sell it better with removing them.
That is true as well Chris. I saw a p.blue ST here the other day with full stripes (05 reg) and the side stripes had big holes in the side where they had obviously worn away for whatever reason.
