Guys, Not that I drive around without a seatbelt anyway, but noticed as I was pulling away and putting on my seatbelt at the same time that my seatbelt warning light and annoying buzzer doesn't work (I assume its there as there is a light on the dash for it)

Does the ST have this feature fitted with the leather heated seats? Anybody else noticed the lack of this feature or do I have a duff car?

Mine seatbelt light never comes on anyway.

And if youve got to turn the hazards off when braking hard its your driving you need to look at

Ive never had them come on even though there switched on

I guess I just drive harder into the bends then! Actually with mine it doesn't take too much to set the hazards flashing. Don't get me wrong they doen't go off when I'm off to Tesco, but if I'm out for a quick blast they turn on quite often and I'm not even on full breaks!

Does anybody know how they are activated (rate of change of pressure on break pedal, yaw sensor)?

Not a clue, what happens then to the indicator lights on the dash flicker too? (is that how you know if there going off?)

Beltminder is not activated on the Fiesta as it's safety rating is Euro 4.
You only need Beltminder when you're going for Euro 5.
You can turn the feature on, along with start of trip locking, if you can re-programme the GEM module.

I think auto hazards are only on facelift and it might not be activated on your cars. I think this can be changed in the settings menu along with the lane change indicators and the like.

As for knowing the hazards come on, the cluster lights do flash and the console button for the hazards also lights up but it only does three flashes and you can barely hear the tick tock (also another bug bear of mine, but getting used to leaving my indicators on now ) Basiclly, if you are driving hard and they do come on you probably will miss it becasue you should be watching the road and listening to Bon Jovi (the shame!)

Actually seen one the other way to that last week - it was a black one, not sure exactly what model but lower than a Zetec-S because of the back bumper, and they'd taken the normal badge off and replaced it with an one.
