Am unsure at the moment as i don't get Good Friday off , Jaguar only get the following Monday & Tuesday off.
But if everyone is going on the Friday i should be able to sort it out at work nearer the time.

Yeah I should be going up on the friday so we can convoy. I'll probably try and meet Kev and Scotty in Birmingham or somewhere near to them and then we can meet up with you further up Tony if that sounds good?

Or alternatively he could tell his misses to pipe down and make do for the weekend! I admit our next meet may well be his funeral but hey lets see if matt has some guts.

Hey all, one item of interest was mentioned at the Christmas meet , by Stuart i think it was. He mentioned about walkey talkeys for the next meets.

Well, while around my Moms on Boxing day the kids came in with a pair, they are really good, very clear, a choice of chanels so more than two can be used, a range of 2 miles and they were only £12 from Curries .

I for one agree with him that it is safer using them than mucking about with mobiles, hands free of course.

What are your thoughts. .

i can't make it i doubt. well i could on the sunday as a possiblity as its my day off. (However i guess that would be pointless as most people would be wanting to get home and i'm not coming all that way for a quick hello and nothing else.) but friday and saturday is a big no-no unless i have new job cos we are not allowed easter weekend off. Unless I came late saturday night, although putting a tent up in the dark is quite difficult i guess lol. I'll see what i can do but I think its doubtful. Sorry!

Yes Kev it was me that suggested it. Its just easier to use radios, plus I don;t actually think it breaks the law. I could be wrong on that one though. I've had a look at a few. We shouldnt need to all buy the same ones, but just make sure that the ones we do get operate on the same frequency.

As for the weather and how warm it will be Tony I think eatser time is difficult to judge. It could be quite warm but then again it could also chuck down with rain the whole weekend. I think I might also have a look for B&B's that are near the area just incase.

Went to a massive cruise in Rugby was that big we blocked the whole of Rugby off on a Saturday night and had the police in think it was with cruiz west mids or cruise central any way they all used walkey talkeys to get about 40 off us there and as suggested kev it seems more safer and easier. Not sure on the law though.

Im pretty sure walkey talkies are legal as long as if you use them in a car there hands free. But taxi drivers use them by picking them up so dont know.

If i end up putting a tent up and it slings it down ill go in the car

O and by the way i thought that if there is only 10 pitches on that camp site that'll be pretty much all of us plus ppl who will already have booked it, just an idea to look for a second site? with a massive field no restrictions?
