This morning when I open my car the left mirror open itself at angle of 140° instead of the normal 80° angle! thats is I think due to the fact that I wash my car yesterday and water due stay at some place and with frost which do become ice and therefore mess up with the mirrors memory! Its already happen before when both of them did have the same problem last year when I own the car for few weeks. Went to my Ford dealer and guess what they told me that wasn't due to the water getting stuck under the mirrors but someone playing with them! I told him that my car was sleeping outside but in a close space but it never believe me! really what a car! Ford do know how to make cars!

Are these the power fold wing mirrors?

Sometimes when I unlock my car the passenger side mirror stays folded so I have to use the switch inside the car to open it up. What a pain in the arse!

I drive in to the garage so tight on the left I wish I could fold it flat from the inside. I guess it would pop out the second I engaged a gear anyway though?

After my experience with the mondeo ones you manually adjust them and then put the switch down inside the car so they re set back in there sequence its usually simple to fix and think ford are right this time water is not to blame.
best way of doing it is manualy fold them to the normal position and then push switch down it may take a few attempts
