londondude Fiesta Mad Registered: 25/11/06 Posts: 291	Is there meant to be some sound proofing / heat protection mat thing stuck on the inside of the bonnet? I saw a Fiesta on tv the other day with one and realised mine hadnt got one, something that I then thought was odd, as XR2s had them in the day.... as have most cars now?

From the looks of it its just road slime kicking up through the engine bay. As for the lack of sound proofing, its not a bad thing for the ST; adds to the whole mini race car thing! _________________________ Eco-warrior
