I have just been quoted £350 fully comp protective no claims and mods declaired with Adrian Flux. Is anyone insured with them or had dealings with them wanted to check them out before give them my hard earned money

i think i heard someone mention that they are rubbish and take ages if you have to make a claim. not 100% sure on this though, but i know alot of people on ukfiestanetwork.com are insured with them, although the last time i was on that site was about 2 years ago, so they maybe aren't now

very strange, adding a driver should bring the price down unless they have a bad record which you say she doesnt. i added my dad to mine last year and it lowered the price by about £200 with Bell and im paying about £510 now, try on this mate http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ you can stick in your added driver info and see wheres offering a lower price, worked for me when i found that Bell quote

Just tried that and the lowest quote i got was £649 which is more than i pay just for myself at the moment. And Bell said they don't support the gender of the main driver (female!). Are any females on here insured with Bell or do they only accept male drivers?

Another tip if the renewal has plopped onto the mat is to ring the company up and "discuss" your renewal with them. I was phoning them to sort out payment options when she went through to the pricing department, came back and my renewal went down by £80!
