First of all I would like to say nice site and what a friendly forum I have been browsing these forums for a few weeks and thought heck why not register.

Well here is my story I currently drive a C2 VTS and in the near future I would like to purchase a Fiesta ST around June/July of this year as by then I will be 21 and would have been driving for 4 yrs(and 4yrs no claims touch wood) so the insurance will be lower for me. I would like to purchase a white ST with stripes and full leather interior, could anyone else recommend any other extras I should consider looking at.

firstly a big welcome to the site danny good to learn ure toying with the idea of an st,spec wise well thats really up to you,i just got full stripes and mp3 socket on mine oh and its black,at the end of the day everybodys differerant.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have been thinking about getting an ST for the past few months and while searching about for spec and prices I came across this site and it has had some influence on me about getting a ST even more lol. Hopefully sometime over this weekend I am going to try and have a test drive in one to see if the hot hatch is for me as I find that my current car is not for me anymore.

Hi Danny - I've only been here a few weeks meself and originally came looking for advice re Fiesta ST versus VW Polo GTI. Then I copped a test drive in an ST and that was it! It's ordered and theres only 3 and a bit weeks to go...

My brother recently got himself a C2 VTS and let me have a go. I was quite impressed - a real whizzy car and not at all like previous 'tinny' Citroens I've driven. Lacking any real low-down grunt though, which is where the ST's 140 ft/lb comes in! BRRRRRM!

Its not a bad car has 105.0 Max torque (lb ft) but I would prefer something with a little more character such as the fiesta ST. Nice interior and from what I have read very very good handling, and in general it’s a very nice car to look at, with good quality build unlike the C2 which looks kind of cheap but that’s just my opinion.

Hey Dan welcome to the site!! Good choice colour u wanted just like mine! Was consider buying a Citroen C2 VTS myself but the car was just too small and not as fast as the ST and also to discret for me!! for extra option for the ST is tinted window suit the ST very nice especially in White!!

If you do get an you will love it! It's a brilliant little car, goes like a bomb, looks great and the exhaust note makes me smile all the time

I took mine for a run through the Yorkshire Dales when I got it and was surprised how good the handling was on the twisty back roads, I was grinning ear to ear when I got back home

I went for a standard to begin with, but I have added the Mp3 socket and leather gear top and gaiter since.
