From what I've experienced so far, I'd say slow and steady is the way to go with the clutch pedal. But I'm still trying to find the right point of the 'bite' in the clutch.

the Mazda MX5 is a great little car! if it wasn't that pricey I would have buy one! and then turn it to a fast and furious style!!

I had a new MX-5 for a couple of days while my ST has having the front bumper repaired and although it was a 1.8 it was still a very nice car though.
Reminded me very very much of the Capri (the way it drove and the driving position) only with brakes!!

yes the folding hard top roof is very nice!! still more expensive than the basic model!! but yes they do hold there value!!
