when I reverse and accelerate and lift the cluth the revs go down then up then down almost like if the car is going to stall! same go if ur accelerate going forward if u revs it up while moving like in car park the car sometime stall!

Well I've only had my ST since last night and I must say I had quite a surprise when I went in to 1st gear. I'm okay at junctions at the moment, but I'm sure with practice the car will be easier to drive.

Although, this morning on my way home from work I had to do a dreaded hill start in the ST. A very steep hill. Too much throttle, back wheels went nuts, everyone looked, and I felt really silly.

From what I've experienced so far, I'd say slow and steady is the way to go with the clutch pedal. But I'm still trying to find the right point of the 'bite' in the clutch.

Its front wheel drive

Mazda MX-5 Sport then for you next.
Same engine - rear wheel drive (plus bilsteins, six speed box and a LSD )

Yes, it is a bit dear for what it is, especially the folding hard top version (which is what I want)
Though I think they hold their money quite well don't they??
I had a new MX-5 for a couple of days while my ST has having the front bumper repaired and although it was a 1.8 it was still a very nice car though.
Reminded me very very much of the Capri (the way it drove and the driving position) only with brakes!!
Great car

The way it turned through sweeping corners was fantastic.
And it was brilliant on Petrol.
It was just a little tail happy in the wet (only if you abused it though), but you'd soon get used to it.
I like that because it makes you give the car some respect, it's actually safer
