Very nice Carl , did u pay much for it?

I saw my perfect one on the web the other day ST05 CJP but it was £500 and to be honest I'd rather spend that sort of money liberating a few more horses out of the beast first!

Chris

Yea,see wot you mean chris. I bought this one cos it can stay on the car when i eventually sell it and might make it more appealing!

That would be a good one Alex. That plate could also stay on the car and might hold a better price on the car when you eventually change it!

Seen one I quite liked.... ST05 JAB ...... I teach kickboxing so thought it was quite appropriate.

I'm not a huge fan of those personalised registrations where you have to pretend the number 4 is a letter A or re-arrange the spacing for it to read properly but a clever "ST" reg would look cool.

I've considered getting ST05 MAC (Mac being my other nickname) but its £999 from the DVLA which is pretty steep. Something like ST05 FUN or ST05 HOT would be sweet though and I'm sure you'd find that the plate would retain its value when you came to sell the car.

I bought me a new plate the other day.

It'll go nicely I think with this one:

Now what to put it on...

I came this close >----< to buying ST 05 FEZ on my credit card but £499 really is steep and a bit daft as I thought getting all the stripes was too expensive and the whole kit is merely £200ish

It is easy to get carried away with number plates, I speak from experience! My two cost £250 each which I think is ok. £500 is a lot of money for a single plate unless you have enough money that it doesn't cause you too much grief or it means a lot too you.

There are a lot of good plates still available for £250 on the DVLA website, also have a look on ebay.
The thing to remember is that a Fiesta plate is only as long as you own a fiesta, it adds nothing to the sale value of the car. You can see a whole load of M3 ### plates on non BMW's and it just doesn't look right, they lose all meaning when they're not on the car.

All IMHO of course.
