Names Mike, am an Engineer from Liverpool, normaly i do architectural fittigs and stuff, but i have a hobby. I like to design strutbraces for Hot Hatches, to date a done a large number of rear braces for:-

Seat Leon
Seat Ibeza
Skoda Faby vRS
Skoda Octy vRS
Golf 4
MG ZR
And just finished the Ford Focus (very nice job as well).

What is it?

Its a brace that fits between the suspension turrets of the rear end, it works by stiffing up the rear of the car no end. I designed them all with quick release fittings so that if the boot space is required it can be removed or replaced in seconds WITHOUT an tools or spanners.

I love to post some photo's, if anyone here would like to offer i e-mail a load of them.

What i am after is a "Test pilot" somebody whom like to help with R+D on the ST?

OK, a brief spec:-
316 Grade Stainless Steel Tube (seemless) very light very strong, most other parts are stainless as well. As you can see they have "tommy bars" weilded to the locking nuts, these have spring washers to keep them tight once locked up.

What i am looking for is somebody whom wants to be test pilot, but for the moment what i need is some clear photos of the rear suspension turrets where they entre the boot.

I can than design the anchor fittings.
