I know its a bit of a lame topic but I did nearly order one on Saturday. I was "passing" my local Ford dealer and thought I'd pop in to see what they had, as soon as I clocked the window I saw a fully striped red one in the showroom. Suffice to say, I made a beeline for it and had a chat with one of the guys. They're apparently not getting a demonstrator in for a couple of weeks so I'll go back for a test drive then. I'm torn between colours though, my initial thought has always been red, with side stripes only, but the full stripes on the car at my dealer has made my change my mind and want to go for the lot. The demonstrator is meant to be performance blue, with full stripes, which is my other option so will wait and see. Being tight though, I may go for the red simply to avoid paying for metallic paint!

I was so tempted to sign on the line there and then but thought better of it. I really need to pay another grand or so (approx 4 month's worth of repayments) off the finance on my 206 to make it more affordable, plus I get an extra year's NCB at the end of June which chops some £200 off my cheapest insurance quote. Its hard, but head must rule heart at the end of the day and I'll just have to wait!
