As I posted in the noobs forum, I'm probably going to be ordering an ST to replace my 12 month old Zetec S shortly.

It'll be Performance Blue with OTT and side stripes. I'm undecided on whether to get privacy glass though. What do people think? I've had the opinion that it makes it look a little like a van from a distance! I'm looking to get something thrown in from the Ford dealer who I'll get it from to seal the deal, possibly the interior pack if I get the glass. My Dad ordered his first Focus from him, I got my Zetec S from him and now my Dad ordered his new Focus from him on Saturday and he generally gives us knock down prices, including the Ford voucher. I had a 2 or 3 delays with my Zetec S last year as it was one of the first in the country with the face lift and had a hefty wait. Hence with all that I shall be haggling till I'm blue in the face! Due to this if I don't order privacy glass I'll swap it for the interior pack and then try and get him to throw in something else! Power folding mirrors? Do many people on here have them and if so do you recommend or not?

should go for the privacy glass!! it will improve ur car style!! same for me about delay was one of the first in the country to own a facelift version and had 2 or 3 delay as well! but at least was the first to own it over here! was well happy!!as for powerfold mirror mine came as standard but it can be useful! but thats more ur decision!!

Really it's got to be up to yourself as to what you think here. It's going to be your car, not anyone elses. There's loads of pics on here in The Forecourt of peoples STs with and without privacy glass, so have a look and it might help you make up your mind. Good luck with your decision!
