I know I know, shouldn't really do it but... we do this on meets so that the leading cars can have a quick look in the rear view mirror and see if everyone is there. In any case it was that dusty on the forest stage that they were actually justified I think!

Agreed - they do look better but it's disrespectful to other road users especially in dark wet reflective weather.
