WHO WAS THE GENIUS AT FORD WHO DECIDED TO CUSHION THE SPARE RUBBER TYRE WITH A POLYSTYRENE MOULD?
I've been having too much fun with my new ST the last month to even bother sorting out the squeak in the boot, but now it's really getting on my nerves. And it's really loud.
I've left the polystyrene mould in the boot and have surrounded the tyre with old towels to stop it from shifting. This doesn't work at all.
Has anyone else had this problem with their ST, and what did you do to solve it? Tomorrow night I'm going to remove the polystyrene completely and find some other way of padding the spare tyre.
