Hey All.

Right just been to halfords been treated by my sis so got loads of cleaning stuff for my 'big clean' tomorrow lol.

Priced up some Inductions kits while I was there, so I have a bit of a problem

do I spend 90 ish quid on a induction kit ? either a Pipercross or Powertec one (Do halfords do Powertec ?)

or do i save up another 60 quid ish and get a new backbox for my ST ?

What would you do and why ?

To be honest Steve the first thing i would do is not buy from halfords, you can get inductions kits and exhausts much cheaper online, but then i would suggest you get a k&n and a miltek flexi pipe for your manifold, provided its performance increase you're after!

seem like a good power gain with induction kit and flexi pipe! flexi is for standard manifold! As for better sound need a catback system and u get a little gain but sound better! http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/showdetails.php?id=145 here for example on pumaspeedd website for price idea!

as Babyboom has said i would go for an induction kit K&N and a flexi better than a back box...

I was thinking about fitting an induction kit too, found a website that sells these quite cheap: Link

Unsure whether to go for a K&N or Powertec though - sounds like most people on here have got the K&N, but is this the best one to go for?

Cool, think I'll go for the K&N then. Are they easy to fit? I'm not very mechanically minded!
