Just picked up my brand spankin new frozen white ST and have a very long drive soon. I need my ipod to keep me sane. Where can i get a cable to connect my pod to my aux port on me car??? Cheers
wunt mind hooking my ipod up but dont want my local ford dealer to fit my mp3 lead lol

Don't let your ford dealer fit it! They'll bull***t you into changing the whole electrical loom (like they did with mine) which takes a full day to do - even then they messed up the socket so that when I plugged the MP3 cable in, the socket went back into the centre console Argh!

That wouldn't happen mate, as he didn't order it with one. I'm thinking the only reason Ford did that with you is because they could claim the money (as you did actually order it with one). Why would they put a £8 kit in when they could put a WHOLE new loom in and claim a lot of ££££
You'll need to get the stereo out as well craig, you can either buy the keys (£10) or pop to Halfords/Fords and ask them to take it out. You don't have to have the socket where the factory one is either, i've just put mine through to the glove box. Took about 3 minutes to fit if that.

u just got an st and you need an i pod to keep you sane whats sup with all the enjoyment u will get from ure st to keep u sane.

This needs sorting as i am informed that all new fiesta's come with the mp3 kit fitted,and definately with the cable installed in the loom from stereo to console. Who knows for sure ?
