Hi All, what a wicked site to talk about an awesome car!! I reckon I'm one of the oldest guys on this forum and feel like the last to get a hot hatch!! Anyway the ST certainly makes me feel like I'm only 19 again and puts a smile on my face everytime I get in for a drive. Looking forward to even more interesting discussions!!

Thanks FiestaRS!! I do love my ST, first performance car I've owned. My partner doesn't like my style of driving and when I told her I was buying the ST she almost flipped!! Told me she would never get in the car with me!! Interestingly she drove it on Sat and you should've seen the on her face!! She was well impressed.

*hehehe* My parents did their nut when I told them I was selling my old Fiesta (one they helped me buy) and getting the ST. My mum worried it was too powerful for me and my dad was just grumpy My mum is suitably impressed with it after being driven around in it tho Dad is being picked up from Heathrow in it when he gets back from New Zealand (doesnt know I've got it *hehehe*)

I've done 1600 miles in mine and I still get excited everytime I go out in it.
Its also nice that it attracts some attention (I think its the stripes).
I've been doing more motorway driving recently and I've noticed that people get out the way more when in the fast lane. Again, I think its the stripes.
Buy 1 you won't be disappointed!!

The only disadvantage of some of those 10 month accelerators is that other companies might not recognise the NCBs you've built up! Thus having you by the whatnots & forcing you to stay with them. Men can get insured with Diamond as by law they cannot offer insurance to women only I think if you are the parnter/husband of a Diamond customer then you can get insured (or something like that *heh*)

thats true, i know that with elephant unless u stay with them, then they wont give proof of the ncb that u think u have rcvd!!!
10 month accelerators are only worth ncb points with the company u have got them with, best to stick to the 12 month or go somewhere else
