Iv been thinking Hugh...

I know there is FAO section but it would be more helpful if there was a thread that we could input our own thoughts about how to do things on the forum in the best way and if someone gets stuck they can post there also...

With all these IMG Uploaders and everything... ppl may need a little help

Thx

Scotty

I was thinking over the weekend how the FAQ section is pretty poo and unreadable and thought about adding a 'how do i?' forum but at the moment I don't think that there is that much call for it. I think a single thread would soon become unreadble so it would be better to have an individual thread for each issue.

How about we turn the Issues forum into a Help Forum? Here we could list and sticky some basic questions in a 'I'm a newbie!" thread and other threads can be added as needed. Also, the welcome PM could be changed to include a link to this so that new members have somewhere to start from. I also suggest that the FAQ should be removed and a new link to the help forum be added.

Wadda ya think?

How about if you have a "how do I?" link in the Admin | Main Index | etc.. bar at the top of the page which will fire up a whole new page with helpful stuff in order that the user is not taken away from the thread he is currently active in - you couls also link this into the footer of every thread or message...
