Acetone works just like paint stripper thats why women use it to remove nail polish. Just think what it could do to your engine

Acetone is no worse for your engine than petrol!! You have to be careful about fuel lines and rubber/plastic parts but its in such low quantities its most likely going to do nothing.

I'm not going to be throwing it in my tank just yet but if I had an old car that I didn't care about I'd give it a go.

funny really at least th guy can say he had some pussy (cat) in his boot.

How to save fuel: Use fifth gear as much as possible, and use common sense when accelerating etc.
