Sensible every day car - Something like an Audi RS4. Space and pace.
Non sensible - Ferrari F40.

Sensible every day car = RS4 maybe in the Avant form (jeebus they're quick!)

Non sensible = Porsche GT3 RS

Ahh... that's not fair limiting us to 1 car. If you gave me a budget of say £100K, I'd get about half a dozen different cars for that... in fact, make it 7 so there was 1 for each day of the week.

2nd hand MG ZT260 with s/c conversion (so 400bhp V8 for £16K). Great for everyday.
A year old Land Rover Disco.
A 3yr old TVR T350T.. yeah baby.
Lotus Exige S2
Clio 182 Trophy
Pilgrim Sumo or a Dax Tojeiro with a proper v8.
KTM X-Bow

But, if I'm forced to have just 1... then it would need to combine performance, looks and practicality (I have 2 kids). Porsche 911 Turbo.

I would have taken a GT3 or GT3 RS but they don't have back seats... which is a must if I'm only allowed 1 car.

For me if I had to choose one car it would be a 911 Turbo as well. One of the few hardcore cars that you can use everyday and won't break down. Fantastic cars IMO.

And if it was an everyday 'practical' car I think it would have to be the RS4 or the new BMW M5 Touring (as well as the Porsche of course)

Every day car, probably new M3 or M5 BMW - comfort and performance
Stupid car.... probably GT40 and a fuel tanker.

You could argue Porsche 911 turbo as an every day car (in which case.. that!)

For a fun car, this....650 bhp, 0-60 in 3.6 secs.
