fordi2003 Regular Registered: 01/06/07 Posts: 55	eventually i foundit does shut itself off! another quest is where does the passenger airbag deploy from? under the glove compartment? it says AIRBAG on the dash but there is no opening or seam in the plastic thx

fordi2003 Regular Registered: 01/06/07 Posts: 55	i examined it very closely but there is no seam. mine is a 2007 model. the pre facelift ones have the seam i think. you are referring to the 2002 dash , example below.it has no recess above glove compartment. http://www.autointell.com/nao_companies/ford/ford_cars/ford-fiesta-02/Fiesta-02-interior-250-173.jpg strange ford owners manual does not explain this, nor does it write against putting a towel/dash cover or other obstruction on dash

OrangeHippo Regular Registered: 28/07/07 Posts: 50	yeah i have this problem too. its extremely annoying, especially when you park it in an area where there are no lights. the car sticks out like a sore thumb with this stupid green light on the dash. if you ask me, this sort of thing is definately going to attract unwanted attention. does anyone else feel like their st isn't safe in the dark?
