Just curious, which is the better option to getting tinted windows. The DIY film or replace the glass - I'm guessing looks better but costs more - and is this going to be pricy because of the heated rear windscreen?
And be careful how dark you go. The police don't like 'blacked-out' windows (and neither do I actually. I always think the person inside is up to no good).

When I go to england do see lots of cars with tinted windows all around! so dark that u can't see the driver or passanger! so maybe it depend in which county u are!Know in France its illegal as well and its are to get away from it even so there no laws who said its not legal to have tinted window all around! the guy went to court and did win the case!
i got 100% on the backs and 65% on the fronts, i got a black car so looks good. my mate got these sorted for me as the guy who does them charges 25 a window and uses the film and havent had a single problem. The guys who fit them are off to belgium soon too for a tint competition coz they do a great job.

Front windscreen 25% tint allowed. Driver and passenger side windows 30% tint allowed. All other windows, unlimited.
Is this true for factory fit too?...... I thought the tint was unlimited if factory fitted? Obviously it would be tricky seeing out of a 20% transmission windscreen
I'm having mine done and was told that the back 3 windows can be fully black, the driver and passenger are at their legal limit which is 70%, however he advises me that so long as they are over 45% the police don't really bother. So I'm going for it I'm having between 46-48% on them.
