Any ideas? i am going to take it into the dealer's. Thank god I havent started work on the car audio yet

If I understand it good. ->
Perhaps the batteries of the remote control on the key are wrong...
But if the door can'be opened it will be an other problem.
By our Mondeo was such a problem but it was than about 4 Years old...

Can't say I have, tbh. That said, mine is garaged at home and covered at work so the only time it really gets wet is when I'm on the move. I can't say there's really been much rain down my way since I've had it either! lol

I notice the drainage through the doors after I wash the car.....open the doors and out poors the water from the bottom. I assumed it was meant to do this!

Im pretty sure this sort of thing happens on Jags and more expensive cars like that too...

I am sure when my girlfriends dad opens his car doors the water pours out.

If its ok for the more expensive cars I would have thought its not to much to worry about.

Might be wrong though.

So long as its not getting into the passenger compartment then I wouldn't have thought it to be a problem.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to happen. I had a closer look when I washed mine this afternoon. If you look at the rubber surrounds at the top of the doors they have some little holes in. The bottom of the doors also have the exit holes so there's obviously a channel the water runs through on the inside. It stops the water building up and getting trapped elsewhere anyway!

Hi I have had mine 4 days and have stalled it 3 times already - in heavy traffic no less (not like me) the revs seen to be unpredictable - if you tap the accelerator the revs go up beyond 2000 and are very slow to return to idle -have read all messages re: ecu and i think there is a def problem. I am having mine 'looked at' by the dealer.
