Little tip for next time. Open it in MS Paint, Image tab at the top, Stretch/Skew and then enter in a percentage in both boxes (horizontal and vertical). For example you could start off with 90% and keep going down til the pic is the right size. Failing that get ACDSee my photo editing programme of choice!
