Well already after 3 days my stereo isnt working properly.... there i am quite happily driving along listening to some tunes..... and then .............. silence!! I look over at the headunit thinking it maybe a call coming through but no. The stereo has shut down, lost all power! it comes back on 30 seconds later with everything reset back to default settings!!!!!
I took it into ford and they apparently fixed it, but as soon as i drove off, it happened again. its going back in next wednseday but thought id see if anyone else had problems???

don't have this problem on mine when its on but when the stereo is off the screen with the date and time sometime dissapear! but itsd only happen twice so far!

sorry to hear that, I haven't experienced this in mine.

are ford fitting an entire new unit? or just "fixing it"? when you take it in?

im really not sure, when it went in the first time they said there was a loose connection which was taken out and re fitted. took all of 5 minutes...... he said if it happens again to take it back and they will "flush the system" i personally cant see what help thats gonna be if its a power issue???
i tell you summat though its well annoying!

well guess what, they couldnt find a problem, so when i picked it up i had to explain what the issue was for the 3rd time!!!
Still it hasnt done it yet.... lets once again pray it wont anymore. lol

What a shock!! still not fixed... they had the car all day, was late into work and left early to get the car and nothing was done! they sed they didnt understand the problem so couldnt do anything. I called up today and demanded a new stereo unit after they requested that my car went in again!

Its going to be ordered tomorrow!

maybe, why do i have to get the rarest stereo problem in the world that even ford cant understand what it is!!! grrrr
