Hi all,

noticed this a couple of days ago. If i'm moving at a low speed ie..under 20mph I get a strange whirring noise from the engine, kind of sounds like what the new minis sound like...kind of eletric noise...does that make sense?

I will listen out again and post specifically when it does it. But has anyone had anything similar?

think all st does it its when you kick the arse out the car before it heats up mines does it give the car 15 mins to heat up its self then do as you please

yes mine does that noise as well but only when engine is cold and at low speed! after it dissappear!

I had a strange whistling noise coming from underneath my car, decided to book it in to get it seen to along with a few minor squeaks (clutch pedal) and pass/door.

Clutch pedal de-squeaked, new spring put in, this is seperate to the recall notice.

And, the whistling from underneath was actually a defective anti-freeze hoze, there is a TSB from Ford on this. Apparently it is quite common.

All problems fixed!!
