Hi all, im thinking of getting some focus RS wheels for my ST.
Theyre a good price but are 18's which isnt too bad.

Does anybody know if they weigh a lot more than a ST wheel, and will there be much difference in rolling radius with 35 series tyres on the RS rims?

Also, do they fit ok, or do they scrub like a biatch?

I dont want to destroy the performance of the ST so wasnt sure wether or not to get them.

Any help is apreciated. Thanks.

Hi Dan,

They do fit but ideally you need to get them machined down so that the offset is correct. once they are fitted you'll only be able to lover it on coilovers as eibachs (Or any other springs) will cause your tyres to scrup like crazy. Someone else should be able to tell you about the handling etc. Hope this helps.

It slows the car down having the Alloys on.

The Tyres are more expensive...

Alloys need to be machined down to fit correctly.

The car handles better but the handles brilliant already.

Keep the alloys if you want performance... if you like the look of then get them for cruising around with and style.
