Arghhhhh

Just been sent a speeding fine from Hertz for an alleged offece (well 2 actually) that occured 7 months ago!!!! So, my question is, does Holland have the same laws regarding a time limit like we do in the UK to allow people to remember any mitigating circumstances?

I can't believe it..... caught twice, 4 minutes apart and I was alleged to be only 12km(7mph)over the speed limit.... phffff! Makes me think what else could be in the pipeline as I've been over to Holland loads recently!
