The deadline is not until the 29th of June. What they've said this year is that they're simply allocating stands from the centre of the track outwards in the order they receive the application, rather than some people getting preferential treatment which has been the accusation in the past (though they have at least said they're no longer putting people in the gravel traps!).

It's a tricky one. Normally I don't take bookings until after FITP and then wait until a week or so before the deadline to give people the maximum chance to come. This time, because of the above, I'd planned on taking bookings after I'd ordered our FITP tickets, and giving people until the end of May, a couple of weeks after FITP. I'd still prefer to do this as with FITP being a social meet it gets people to meet one another and encourages them to consider coming to one of the bigger but more expensive shows. But... that could come at the expense of giving us a worse position at Silverstone.

I'd welcome any opinions as to whether people would prefer an end of May deadline or just a few weeks time, and after taking a straw poll will start taking bookings on Sunday evening.
