now that the weather is getting damper I'm finding the standard Pirrelli P0 lacking any grip when wanting to accelerate from start, my car is new from June, done around 1800 miles only, are they worn in yet ? I drive fairly steadily. Anyone tried different tyres and found any better ones ? Seem fine in the dry.

Yep i have the same problem with the p-zero's, going to try toyo's next , they seem to have high praise for these tyres.

ame prob here, i nearly got thrashed by a saxo vtr last night cos i couldnt get the power down from wheel spinning. i nailed past him when i got onto 3rd though! couldnt let a saxo vtr take me, no way!
had worse! got overtake by a ford transit van! and worse I couldn't follow him on the road! the car was sliding! as for the toyo use to have it on my ST and grip was better indeed!

No way a transit i got owned by a mercedes sprinter in my mondeo in the wet , i was speechless at the time
glad I wasn't the only one!! those mercedes sprinter are fast in straight line but as for handling don't find them very good at all! do drive one sometime and can tell u feel really unsafe its like driving a kangouro!
