Hi

I am trying to get the headunit out to wire up the sub/amp but i cannot get it out. its the 6006 model. Any ideas on how to get it out? i have tried to use some keys but it wont buge thanks.

I think you have to make sure each key is fully engaged, one at a time.
Then I would say the best thing to do is fully drop the glovebox door and put your hand up the back of the centre stack and push the radio out from behind.

Exactly - the 'euro' removal keys from Halfords do the job in so far as releasing the pins. You only need 2 keys (1 if you're really good). Push them into the slots, whilst pushing it forward, through the side of the glovebox. If the keys don't release it, try them the other way round.

Yeah i am quite worried i am going to break something..need to get it out though to figure out how to and to wire the sub/amp up

How well do you know your local dealership? If they are nice, they can help you get the stereo out. Mine very kindly fitted the AUX cable for me with no charge.

I tried to take some pictures for you just after you said you had trouble, but they really would have been no help at all!

The key should have the longer straight edge at the outside of the headunit.

As said, you could always try the dealer - at worst they will charge you a little...
