Last week my had it's MOT and luckily all went through without a glitch and I have him back now safe and sound. Yesterday I dropped Silkie (my silver focus) down to the garage for it's MOT which has happened today. Unfortunatley it requires all around discs and pads... For 4 of each will mean a bill of around £300 just for the parts... OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm going to find out more info about when it's going to be done and the exact cost of it. Brings back home how expensive our cars cost when things need to be replaced Ontop of this I also have the Tax this month for £170... argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Thank god Sarah is so good and helps me with the cars.

Not good news for Silkie there Scott... I'm sure she'll pull through. I'm sure she's needed new brakes for a while now, I've noticed them before when I've seen the car

Not long done the discs and pads on the sister in laws focus 1.8 zetec, fronts were about £50 all in, easy to do save yourself some money mate and do them yourself. Backs aint that hard to do, hers were ok just cleaned them up and done the handbrake.

maybe time to sell one of the cars
To be honest i have been thinking the same thing, maybe time for the RS to go, i have just bought vicky a 98 ford ka3 so she can build up her no claims discount, she is still insured on the ST insurance so can still enjoy that but the ka is now the school run and shopping car (no more dents in the ST),the thing is running 3 cars is going to cost, the escort can be sorn next month, but the insurance and tax are due on the fezz, sometimes needs must and with 2 kids to sort out for school, can i justify the 3 motors.
