Photography is all to do with colour and shapes. I have not had one lesson in how to take a picture and have taught myself but as i say to everyone, i cannot learn if comments are not made. Thx for your honest opinion Chris, the problem with the second bridge shot was mainly the sun wasn't out and the bright colours were not shown to there full capacity. We were pretty lucky on weather really from the day before. Maybe open a few pictures full size and add them as your desktop... they look FAR better then covering the whole screen, the small ones dont do them much justice! The field pictures look really good as the ground is one colour and really makes the cars stand out, when i saw the field i knew it would be great to take shots in due to its colour Comments welcome

Scotty, those are really good... It looks like you had good fun also taking the ones in the field with the additional Puma, Focus and Escort too. Shame we could not stay longer with you guys. As for comments for me it would have to go down to personal preferences as technically speaking I think I could not add much to what you already know... I think it's visible on the bridge photos that we were in a rush. With more time we'd have been able to fine tune each shot and get down to details. I really like the first shot with the Aysha's and Chris's cars on the first bridge. As for my ST I like the photo but I think it would have looked better if I had closed my side window - just personal preference I suppose. Keep taking pics mate, I think you're doing really good.

Well, just thought I should add a post to this thread today. Today is exactly one year since we were in Bourton and had such a great time there, not just with the photos that were taken and can be seen in this thread, but also with everything else that went on that day(and weekend) as well. I've been re-reading this and the other two threads about last year now, and it has been really enjoyable reading them again. I think it is good having threads like these put up (and ditto of course the ones about things that have happenned this year), as it does help remind you of great things that have gone on. Whilst a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, and in some ways Bourton seems an awful long time ago now, in a strange way it seems no time at all ago, and I'm thinking "Jesus Christ! That was a year ago??!". I think in the end most people really enjoyed it, and was great to see yous again this year, even if in some cases only for a short time. Sorry if this post maybe seems a bit more philosophical than you've all come to expect from me, but I do have a serious side as well as a fun side, and felt I had to mark this landmark in some way, just by getting some of my thoughts written down. Take care ChrisC
