Yeah i've got it also!! As if the adhesive is coming away from the screen. Only happens in cold weather.

If eveyone complains about the faults to Ford customer services 0845 841 1111 The more likely the will actually do something about it.

Otherwise you dealer will spray silicon spray everywhere and it won't do anything and you'll have to live with it.

I have also got it, in addition to my windows creaking its rather irritating. It’s a very expensive rattle bucket!

My drivers window creaked fairly badly so I took it to the dealership and they stripped the door, greased the window mechanism, put it back together and its fine.

Guess I'm pretty lucky, have mine 3 months now, and not a single rattle from the interior, had a mild case of window creaking but silicone spray around the window frame (inside the rubber guides along the top and sides of the door) sorted it...had a slight rattle in the ceiling just above my head (from new) but I just lifted away the rubber along the ceiling lining and sparyed a dose of that expanda foam in, problem sorted. cheers

I’ve got the dreaded creaking diver's door/window as well, its been back to Fords so many times, they fix it for a couple of days and then the creak comes back.

I'm probably being thick, but what is Silicone spray, is it WD-40?

No not WD 40 dont use that
Look in halfords or the like Its a Nylon or Rubber lubricant Get a tin its aerosol and has loads of uses round the house too.
I use it in the Streetka Roof seals about every 8 weeks its good for all the door seals too and round the rubber boot seal. Just use it very very lightly a little goes a very long way. Just use the thin tube like the WD one down the window runners do a bit at a time if it squeaks or sticks you can add more. I 1st started using on the 2.9 4x4 Sierra It had global window closing with pressure sensors. In the hot weather the windows were fooled into thinking I had my hand trapped in the frame and would stop, the lube made them glide freely up and down. It keeps the rubber and nylon like new stops it getting brittle or stiff. I use it on our shower curtain runners and the House PVCu window and door seals too. Its not like oil like WD or 3 in one and cleans off the glass where you get over spray quite easy.

Ford won't do anything about it unless they get a certain level of complaints.... so call customer services and make them aware 0845 8411111

Or ask the dealership you take it to to log it to ford technical.

I also have this fault

Have just voted ‘yes’ on your steering column post, seems like we're having the same problems, phoned up the dealer (the car is in at the moment) and made him aware that someone else was having the same problem.

Apparently Ford does know of this PAS problem, but it’s not the problem with my car???

It’s when the wheel is turned and accelerating out of bends corners and you get a klonk coming from the wheel or column. Doesn’t sound anything serious but is definitely annoying, does this sound to be the same problem as yours?

That is indeed the exact same fault.

The dealership will probably tell you its a characteristic of the car. But it is a known fault and ford are aware of it. They will only do something if a certain amount of customers complain about it.
