You make a good point there Crofty. They'd have to be more supportive and comfy because the focus is one of them long journey cars, right. Where the fiesta is more of a weekend posing jobby

So for comfort, you going for the focus st i take it

There's just nothing quite like the ST branded seats style though. Imagine if the car was a cabrilet if you will How good would you look in those seats?

I do think the Fiesta seats are very good, and can vouch that they are comfortable even on long journeys. However, I suspect that the Recaro ones will prob be even better there. But that pic at the top shows another reason not to like the Foci ST in orange, couldn't live with those inserts day by day!!

Yep, I too can youch for the Fiesta seats, London to Whithaven in one day and I didn't feel tired, sore, achy etc.

I can definately vouch for the comfort on long journeys. Germany to France (7.5 hours) no problems at all. Although my girlfriend couldn't say the same about the passenger seat unfortunately.

I don't agree with that actually because the seats weren't developed by standard Ford, they were developed by TeamRS. And I'm sure they have a very good idea about how seats should be designed

Fair point actually, i forgot that the st seats are a different type to the standard ones... but, why have they chosen recaro to design the focus ones, just to get an extra brand in the car or is it because seats arent their area of expertise?

I'm definately going to haveto choose the ST seats...(unless of course i had the orange focus st...then it would just be stupid )

Does anyone know if the ST seats are available anywhere, in an unbranded form (or very similar ones??)

When you say st do you mean focus or fiesta? the zetec s fiesta ones are the same but the colour isnt as good

I suppose it could be because in a way the Mk2 Focus ST was brought out as a replacement for the Mk1 Focus RS, and so they would want sporting seats in it.

like i said, the zetec s seats are the same but arent in the same colours as the st ones. the leather ones are good but they wont come cheap
