Pre facelift headunit

Hey guys, Looking at upgrading my head unit in my pre facelift car.. I know I have to cut the bars out to get a double din to fit but I have to do anything else? I'm looking at getting http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251059338558?redirect=mobileSo do I need to buy anything else at all?

dont see the point as when i do cut the bars out, if i do plan on selling the car as standard then i will buy one then and refit, for now im trying to keep costs down.

I'm fairly sure the one I linked comes in a cage and the cable comes with it too, do I think is just the fascia I need

Mine did so ended up with two in the end. Think you will still need a cable on top of the one that comes with the headunit as they are specific for each car. I think this is the right one for the pre-facelift.

I'm looking at a double din in next month or so, going to get my local stereo shop sort it all tho, for that sort of money I want It working properly

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but this moth it seems I might be able to afford it!
I assume once the bars are cut you can fit a "standard" size double din heat unit (178(W)X100(H)X169(L)mm) so it's just a case of buying the fitting stuff that bacon ordered and having the bars away!
