I have an ST500 and i have installed the mountune CAIS and i have a full milltek exhaust about to go on.

I was wondering about a few things things... Would it be beneficial to get an inlet manifold after this or is it only for after cams?

And also, what power are people really getting from a full system and CAIS?

Finally, would it be beneficial to map the car with the exhaust and CAIS? or does it make very little difference?

the only 2.0l specific inlet is the Mountune IE4 which has a good balance of more power and torque, there are some kicking about second hand.
The Cosworth inlet will loose low down torque compared the MT one.
There are some more budget inlets around, AS do one.
Cams again these can again loose you low down torque but gain more BHP.
If you get all the bolt on goodies inc an inlet and cams and a good remap you might be around 190-200bhp mark, doesn't matter as long as it drives and performs smoother and better. Just without a mountune inlet you may have less low down pull, potentially little more BHP though than a MT set up.
The standard ford inlet is actually quite good, so you could go cams, larger TB and all exhaust system, sports cat etc and if mapped well a really much quicker car.
So no mapping required unless fitting cams and or an inlet, all other bolt on goodies do not need a remap.
Guessing full system/cais sports cat 160/170 max power.

with out a map you either 10 up or 10 down all depends, as above get all the bolt on stuff and take it to dream science or jamsport for a map
