Definitely wasn't a boring race, but definitely a race ruined by tyres again. Not so much strategy this time, but those delaminations were totally dangerous and Pirelli have some questions to answer.
On the FOM feed you heard Vettels car with transmission issues and as soon as he was slowing down the crowd cheering was amazing.
Having said that - some to note:
Very well done to Webber to get through the pack in the last 10 laps, drove like a total animal after the safety car period - will definitely miss him next year. Di-Resta - starting from the back of the grid to come an overall 9th was a smashing effort in the Force India, and the wheel to wheel racing with Hamilton was just about the best bit of racing I've seen between two drivers all season so far. Hamilton - what can I say? Pole, to stone dead last, then back to 4th throughout the race. No matter what people's opinions of him, he's a fantastic driver. Vettel - glad he retired - it's just getting so boring to see him take off down the road with ever increasing gap times to the car behind, it was good to curb his lead so now the championship looks wide open again.
Lets hope Pirelli sort this tyre fiasco once and for all - they are systematically destroying F1 at the moment.
