For all Max Mosleys faults, he did want to introduce the budget capping which convinced HRT, Caterham and Marussia to join the grid. Unfortunately it never came about and the three teams who have gone into administration and ultimately left the grid? HRT, Caterham and Marussia.

I can't see any other teams going for the time being - the only ones on the verge were Lotus, but it seems they've sorted themselves out for the moment.

Going to be a very strange couple of race weekends for Formula One. Maybe old Bernie will try to convince Haas F1 to join the grid a year earlier than planned...!

The worst part of it for me is that Marussia still have a driver in a coma in hospital, hopefully the administrators will have put aside funding for his care and repatriation when he's well enough.
