From conversation, I believe mountune will lock the map out, so that it can't be overwritten by ford when they hook it up to the diagnostics..

Which could cause a few issues..



there is a code that they need to enter to be allowed to change anything on the etis system when your mountune car has been connected.

this stops anyone trying to put the mountune map on any other car that comes into fords.
